We are a Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre located in Christchurch, New Zealand that provides:

• Oncology consultations and diagnosis
• Radiation Treatment – including daily cone beam CT and IMRT technology
• Chemotherapy
• Support Services – including psychosocial counseling, lymphoedema physiotherapy, and dietary consulting

We treat most types of cancer including breast, lung, colorectal, head and neck, prostate, musculoskeletal, lymphoma, brain and other cancers.

World Class Radiation Treatment Technology

At the St George’s Cancer Care Centre we offer advanced technologies and world class practices:

• Radiation Treatment from two Elekta Synergy linear accelerators, and a Philips Brilliance CT Scanner.
• IMRT, an advanced level of radiation treatment used extensively overseas but not widely used in some Public Hospitals in New Zealand.
• Daily Cone Beam CT to ensure more accurate positioning prior to each radiation treatment.
• VMAT an advanced radiation treatment will be available from the end of October 2010

Out of Town Clinics

We can provide consultations by telephone to anywhere in New Zealand.

We run clinics in Nelson and Blenheim, and are in the process of developing video-conferencing and clinics at other South Island sites including Timaru and Queenstown.

Cost

Cost is very much dependant on the treatment.

All medical insurances are accepted to cover your treatment.
